Fogs

Fogs

Postby RickyBoxler » Sun Feb 23, 2003 9:08 pm

Are there any cool foglights out there. My boy was telling me something about like a chameleon foglight or something like that which the shade of the light changes when you look at it from different angles, I dont know if he was smokin crack or what. Anybody have any ideas on something unique for my foglights? Or if the chameleon thing is real.

OK..ive been meaning to reply to this FOREVER..could I get a lil more info on this. Im interested..ive already got the whitestars for my lows..im gonna get em for the highs..just because. I want to do soemthing a lil more original for my fogs. The rainbow thing sounds interesting. I saw one today that looked like it took a regular light and reflected it back into the prism that was like an opalescent green/purple thing. I dont know if it was of any quality though.

do you just leave 'em on and drive around? :o
doing sth more original for the fogs means..?

Ok..i dont drive around with my high beams on...i rarely use em...but its only 40 bucks so i might as well complete the package. Ok..like I said..i want to do something a lil more original with my fogs than just some ultra white lights..i dont like the yellow lights..and i dont want some solid color..something that when people see it there like..oh thats different (in a good way).

I agree, if I had an 02 or 03 Solara, I would also want to complete the package. There would be something unfinished about it if the high's were stock and the lows were silverstars.

Then you're asking for this PIAA Ion Yellow 9006. I got them, and yeah they look very different. I would say, they'd look really cool to a Red Solara.

Wow, can we say "use the search feature"? It seems like the last 3 or 4 threads I have read here have been pretaining to headlight and foglight bulbs over and over and over again.

Me neither. The low beams with Silverstars are more than enough for me. Thats also one of the reasons why I installed Cool Blue on my high beams :) I just wanted to see what it looks like, but I dont think I would ever use them. $10 for both on ebay ;)
