If you just need a replacement OE level pad, the Raybestos QS pads are pretty good.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

HAWK HPS

http://www.solaraguy.org/viewtopic.php?t=22832

I'm not realated to that guy, i just happend to see that post at the same time. I dont know if that the best deal but it sounds about what I paid.

I dont know if you really need them in the back (that's where you can save some money)

I have this pads in front with brembo rotors and they are really good. I like to drive fast so I have to use breaks mroe often than a lot of people. So far i have over 10k on them and they still look like new. I think they'll def last me for a couple more years. Wheels get dusty after a few months of driving or if you drive in the city. I would def recomend them instead of OEM.

if you go to dealership or where to change them they'll tell you.

If you are doign it yourself, the disk tells you what min thickness it can be (i think it's printed on inside of the disk). If it's thinner than that number you prolly should get a new one. I know some people who still just resurface them and use them again, but I dont know how safe/good that is.

I hope that helps

it's really easy if you have right tools. Bleeding is harder but you can change rotors and pads without bleeding brake lines. It took me 3 hours to change 4 rotors and 4 pads doing it for the first time (saved 200-300 bux). So you might wanna rethink. As to DYI go to autozone and buy heyen's manual. It's like a few bux.

They give you estimate. Some places would not put your own parts (Monroe), cuz of the warranty issues.

I think it's around 50-100 bux per axel.

Hawk HPS fronts with Brembo cross-drilled rotors and Goodridge SS braided brake lines...

f*ckin' AWESOME. Hawk HPS front brake pads cost around 60-90 bucks. they're easy to upgrade yourself too.

I had Satisifieds Pro (silver box). I was not impressed. They wore fast and dusted like crazy.

I have Hawks now....much better.
