Dats Dynod Sad =>243 whp

Postby DatSRBoi » Thu Apr 20, 2006 9:20 pm

I finnally did my dyno tune today. 243 whp is acceptable for now (Kind of made me sad it was low )but I now found out Ill have to forge out more money to fix the lean issue still. Dont worry its undergoing already as soon I find 500 more bucks..................................................... I get paid less then that.

But anywho. Dyno finnally finish and did 243 whp. I dont know how to convert that to Fwhp but Im guessing add 50hp and thats the Fwhp right? Im still not happy til I hit my 300Fwhp mark hehe.

I believe that 243 whp is the same as 243 fwhp.

Also, adding 50 to that number would be HP at the flywheel.

I believe he was referring to the flywheel with fwhp (some people use it for Front Wheel Horse Power, others use it for FlyWheel Horse Power... always argue over which is right). You can generally anticipate around a 20% loss between the crank and your wheels, so 50hp is a good approximation.

243 is still a pretty tight number dude, keep it up and you'll have a beast on your hands in no time!

He already does. 243 at the wheels isn't the highest in the world like cars that are in mags and crap, but it's definitely no joke, I can tell you that. My car is somewhere around low 200 hp, I don't know the exact amount, and it pulls flippin HARD.

My solara can never get into the 240's on its best day on its best run.

highest i ever got was 236.

lol, I still don't understand why you guys are modding your cars to get more power. I have had 4 Mustang GT's in the past and modded them till I hit 300rwhp and they were fast..

These are luxury cars, I wouldn't think one bit of modding mine with a super/turbo charger. I need gas mileage now.

I find your air/fuel mixture pretty good...maybe there is improvement around 57mph (don't have the RPM for it...at first look)

I will buy the CP-e with tuner... I will have a pretty air/fuel band to optimize my power...but nothing like you 243 WHP !! If I have 200 whp I will be happy !!

We mod our cars cuz we can...and want

Solara is not a luxury car.

And if you want good gas milage you should have gotten echo or corolla.

Oh yea and supercharger that people have is made by toyota so it's not really modding it's upgrading, if that makes sense.
