I agree that DENSO's and NGK's work best for our cars. Let us know how the BOSCH's work out.

^^dude, I got the Denso's. dual platinum. working great.

however, the old plugs (61,000 miles) looked in almost perfect condition. I was glad I didnt see any oil on any of the plugs.

^^^ Sweet.

I got DENSO Platinums on my car also. I think they're made to go atleast 60,000-100,000 miles. I've already changed them out twice, once at 20,000 miles (replaced NGK with DENSO) and another at 60,000 miles (replaced DENSO with DENSO), I'm at 77,000 miles now.

When I took out the NGK's they looked great and same with the DENSO's. I kinda wished I hadn't changed them out so soon.

I put those bosch platnum 4's on my camaro and they made it run like crap. I replaced them like 3 months after i put them in. I replaced them with NGK's and the car ran so much better after that. I couldnt tell you for toyotas yet cause Im still running on my stock denso's but based on what everyone says on the thread and others, Denso is where its at!

denso dual diode is factory on a 99 SLE V6.. not sure about other models

I also mistakenly bought some Bosch Platinum single diode and I got poor gas mileage, I also had some other problems but that was soon fixed..

I bought NGK Iridium plugs and am awaiting results.

Just wondering when changing the rear plugs do you have to take the intake off ? and can you get at them without removing anything ? this would be on a 99 se V 6

Get a flex-head stubby, and you can zip around it pretty quick. It's a pretty difficult tune-up, but you don't have to remove anything, beyond what you need to replace.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

If I'm not mistaken, keep in mind that for the V6 you'll have to use dual prong (I don't know how it is with the I4's), but then again I use single-prong Denso Iridium and they work just fine.

^^^Same here, it says to use dual prong. But they dont make iridiums with dual prongs.
