I have a 99 solara and couldnt figure out how to get the dash apart to get the radio out. It seems like it clips on but i couldnt locate the clips. I'm sure someone must have put their radio in there car so help me out.

it's as easy as opening the trunk...just pull from the bottom and it'll come off.

If I didn't do it, someone else would have, and probably not as nice as I did :P

How are they very tricky ?? The trim snaps into place. If you cannot get it off, then you are an idiot.

there was time when we all were newbies.
The trim comes off easily. Start from the bottom and increment your way up (ensure you unplug/unharness the cig lighter, cig ashtray bulb and the clock after your done). Ask here if you got any questions

Remove the ashtray and disconnect the cigerette lighter harness as "Jai_Jai_Binks" already said. Then pry the center console from the bottom up. It should be held on by a few clips and with a lil force it should come off easily.
