defniately go for the mb quarts rsc 216 or for 200 u can get the psc 216's. mb quarts makes the best components out there in the market in my opinion. i have the rsc 216's and they're great. they have unbelievable highs and the bass response is great. my friend has the psc, and his tweeter is so sharp, it hurts. i personally think its a bit too sharp, but if u like that, go for it. you really cant go wrong w/ mb quarts components. get a set off ebay or ikesound.com. i dont think alpine components are that great. way overpriced. gunman is our audio expert on this forum, but he hasnt been on here lately, but im sure he'd agree w/ me on this :D

I think that for the money, Polk Momo's sound bada$$. My friend has them in his Mustang, and I think they sound better than my Boston Acoustics Pro's. If you look around, you can get a set of Momo's for around $260.

MMMM Focals. Wow now those are speakers. They are in a whole nother league compared to everything else listed, but they also might be 2-3x the price.

I'd say get focals if you can afford them, then the quartz or infinitys. I've personally used the infinitys and they sound amazing. You will need a more powerful headunit or an amp to reap the true benefits of top of the line speakers

I have the Polk MOMOs also. They sound really, really nice. I would recommend them to anyone. I have seen them on Ebay for a pretty good price.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

Infinity Kappa's would be nice. That is what I have in my car. The Perfects have a way wild tweeter that is hard to tame. With the Kappa's though your gonna have to give them a good solid 35 watts of amplifier power to get them to come alive..

I really love the jl audio 300/2 stereo amp. each speaker would get 150 watts off high current beautiful sound. The entry q line in mbquart is a very nice marriage with that amp.

How many of you with upgraded speakers had the 200 watt JBL system in there previously? How big is the difference? I have the OEM stereo in there right now and I think it sounds pretty damn good for factory...
