My ABS light just came on in my gauge cluster... Anyone know what the problem(s) may be? There are no notable symptoms that have followed the light turning on. Thx in advance for ur advice!

You would have to check the ABS code.
If you have the Haynes manual you will have to find out what plugs you have to plug the wire in 2 sockets and the ABS will flash a code in a number of blinks.
If you need to find out what sockets to stick it in then let me know.

Woah,.. thanks for the info sleeper, but thats a lil abstract for my unknowledgable self.. First off I have no haynes manual, and I dont know where to get one :-? .. second, what is the "plug the wire in 2 sockets" about? and where will the flash code blink? I appreciate the reply, but it was a little abstract. If you can clarify it a little, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This could be one of the speed sensors. In this case nothing would seem like it is wrong. Because the car still has atleast one other speed sensor. And the speed sensor does not impact on anything mechanically. You would have to scan the computer to find out which one it is.

This is just my 2 cents and I also had the same problem with one of my cars.

Get second opinion from a more experienced Solara person.

Oh, my bad you can get a Haynes manual at AutoZone, or PepBoys, or even O-Reilly.
But i can take a picture of the picture from the book so you can find the code or i can take a picture of the location in the engine bay for you and put the wires in to show you where to find the sockets.
And then show you how to look for the code.
