Did you make sure that you installed the customizer properly?

Make sure that all of the connections are on the proper wires, if not you can get in some serious trouble...

Also, if you used the 'scotch locks' supplied, make sure that they fully cut through the insulation and are making a solid connection with the bare wire. If they aren't making a good connection it could short out or not function properly.

has your check engine light come on?

It absolutely comes with the MAF customizer. It's a small black box with a cable hanging out of it... That is REQUIRED for the car to run properly (if not at all)

Here's what you shoulda received:

Image

The pic shows everything except the heat guard (which the Gen 1 and 1.5 come with). The materials shown in the picture are:

CP-e MAF Customizer - the black box with the wires, far left
Rubber 2.75" to 3.5" gasket to connect SRI to throttle body (stamped CP-e)
2.75" and 3.5" ring clamps
CP-e Short Ram Intake
aFe Air Filter
rubber shock absorber / spacer (the little black cylinder)
Manual

recheck your engine bay to see if anything was left unplugged. my car ran the same way after i installed my Injen SRI, and when i took it to Toyota and they located a free-hanging plug they looked at me like...

"are you f*ckin' kiddin' me...?!!"

That black box (MAF customizer) looks like its too big to fit on top of that mount for the intake in that picture. Where does that go and how does that connect into the car.

It splices in to your ECU behind your glove box. Basically a piggy back that "tricks" your ECU into calculating the proper amount of air the engine is taking in due to that .75" increase in pipe diameter (this is what would cause the stalling and improper engine functioning)... It also contains the new, performance oriented, fuel map.
