Man, that's annoying! I've read the posts, and I guess most of us have the same problem - bad strut mounts. I think I remember even seeing something about a factory service bulletin about it. My question is, until such time as I re-do the suspension with new springs and struts, would driving around like that damage anything else, like metal fatigue or something? Thanks! 8)

no, you should not have to worry about physical damage to your car...just damage to your ears everytime you hear that annoying noise.

I had the same problem until this summer when I changed out my rear mounts, and my fronts are going on as we speak.

Changing out the shocks isn't hard, it does take a little time and a spring compressor though. I recommend a friend helping.

You would have to take out all the back plastics and seat too.
