How much would it sell?

How much would it sell?

I am looking into selling my 99 Solara SE V6 within 2 months period. The current mileage is 123K miles, has leather seats, 17" tires with 2 almost brand new tires. Everything else is stock. I've had the timing belt replaced at 110K miles, along with the water pump, transmission filter and both front O2 sensors.

I was involved in a minor wreck few months back and it was repaired at Macko (spell?), it does not really show that it was previously involved in an accident. The inside is very clean - rear seats looks brand new. The exterior looks good for a 7 yrs car. Mechanically, the car is great, it has been good taken care of.

How much do you guys think I could sell it for? keeping in mind that I am not in rush to let it go.

Appreciate the feedbacks.

KBB quoted me ~ $5000, which does not sound accurate as a Civic runs for more than $5000.

That does sound a little low, but did you make sure you are checking the private party selling price and not a tradein value? Ouch on the Macco job.

i bought a fully loaded 99 SE v6 5 speed for $7200 two years ago (113k miles), i would imagine the it will depreciate even more today.

Well i dont think KBB can give you the exact value of your car when its around 100K miles. cuz it really depends on whether you've done the timing belt maintainence. cuz essentially tht is wat gives the car the life of another 50-100K miles.

see i bought my 2000 SE V6 all stock for $8150. and since then i've put on gen 2 rims, new tires, changed water pump and belts, spark plugs, new brakes and the exterior n interior are in absolutely great condition.

so there is really no way i wud sell it for less than $7300 today when i'm at 97k miles. the car neeeds absolutly nothing until nother 50-80K miles..so i wud think ~$7000 wud be a fair price given that civics DO sell for about ~$5k with 90k ish miles.

wat ya think?
