Postby returnofthedack » Wed Mar 22, 2006 11:40 am

i recently picked up a set of yellow 6000k foglights, and i want to tint the light fixture itself. where can i get some good yellow film to do this? i see all the kits on ebay that have a fit to a certain car, but i wouldnt want to buy the wrong type and have it not fit right. anybody know where i can get a nice huge piece of yellow tint? thanks!

so yellow cellophane wont look cheap and disgusting and it will actually stay on the light? how about like i had said about the universal headlight kit with an actual adhesive backing. sure it was funny, get real.

I did that yellow cellophane for my 4runner's fog lamps and it looks great. Go for it. 8)

[/humor]post a pic of this "kit" you speak of. if you're gonna do the cellophane here's a hint:

it doesn't go on the bulb. Image

well heres the "kit" i speak of. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissan-3 ... dZViewItem so much for your sarcastic attitude. :o oh and eurodesignz 6000k xenon yellow bulbs provide the color, not cellophane :) next time you want to make a diss, get your facts straight first there partner. :drinking:

i say just get the kit from ebay and just cut it to make it fit the shape of the foglamps... celophane might be too thin so you might get a lot of wrinkkles... I used yellow tint from autozone and i got a lot of wrinkles on them...

Just get the nokya 2500k fog lights. They shine yellow and you dont need the celliphane.

^^^ i think he wanted the fixture itself yellow, and i believe he already boght some yellow foglights... i might go ahead and purchase this tint, because the tint that i got from autozone has that cellophane feeling... i have alot of wrinkles on my foglamps...

He couldnt have gotten yellow foglights cause he said they were 6000k. That means they are the blueish white color.

maybe the label wasnt right. they put off a deep yellow beam but if you look at the light its actually a purple/yellow effect. havent gotten the yellow tint yet, working on putting on the rims.
