Ive searched around because I know this has been talked about alot. But I was wondering if anyone could tell me how many do gen 1-1.5 and where are they located?

I believe 4cyl have only 1 Knock Sensor.. don't feel like goin to look for the book, someone else can answer where and stuff.

V6's have two under the intake manifold...which is under the intake plenum (intake plenum - follow your stock intake box or aftermarket intake to the left, past the throttle body which connects to it, then the plenum is after that)

On the V6 3.0L IMZFE, after you removed the intake manifold, you also have to remove the intake assembly;

and will expose the water/coolant by-pass assembly and the two knock sensors are under the hose;
