Well, I've been thinking of doing some modifications to my 2001 Toyota Solara SLEV6, but have been having trouble locating very useful websites. If you have purchased an ECU, please post back with feedback, product name, and location/website. Thanks.

are you talkin' about the OEM ECU???? or do you mean an aftermarket one?

there's the S-AFCII out that's used as a piggyback computer to modify air and fuel ratios. don't get the "JET" chip module since i heard that's useless/harmful.

ebay chips are like 50 cent resistors, and the ecu will eventually work its way around it anyways. More harm than good. The only way to alter the ecu is with some sort of piggback such as an apexi safc. For my turbo project I will be using a Perfect Power SMT6 which is also a piggyback. Theres really no sense in any kind of ecu work unless you have other mods.
