Any JL W7 series with the proper amp will knock a few of your fillings loose.

personally I may end up going with Alpine all around in my car when I get into making the system. Reliablity, and quality are the 2 points Alpine has offered me in the past.

I have 2 10w7's and they are loud as all hell. So loud I have to Dynamat my whole trunk, upgrade my factory JBL's, and get a new head unit. Aside from the alternator and battery upgrade. Definitely a very expensive mod but I'm mostly happy that I did it. My wallet on the other hand.

I did make some video clips that didn't turn out too well with my crappy digital cam but here's a couple.

Subs hitting, I hit record too soon.

I personally like the 2 x 18" sub setup with 400 watts pumping through ea of them! :D

Oh wait - that's my bass rig! :o

I would say the L7's. They can get really loud, you just would need a pretty large enclosure for them. If it was two 12" W7 then it would be different, but the L7's have more surface area than the two 10's.

Any of those setups will get louder than anyone should listen to, so in this case, I'd say get the JL's . They will have much better sound quality than the Kickers.

I'd go with two 10W7's.

i dont know if its the way the digicam records the sound but those subs sound like their getting hella distortion, not clean at all. could just be the recording though like when you cant hear bass over the telephone.

kickers would be loudest but not neccarily the cleanest sound. JL is amazing, I'd just get a single one of those. I had a 12" eclipse with a small amp and it was more than enough for me.

Pretty much with a W7 or L7 you only need 1 to make it sound good but loud at the same time. From my experience, anything more would be for spl comps and showing off.

Yeah it's definitely the digital cam with it's single mic hole. The subs sound amazing, so amazing that I'm taking one out and doing a Kenny/RGZTOY type of setup.
