short ram = sound more than quality (hp)
cold air = some hp gain, sound quality, more expensive
cpe = decent amount of hp gain, sound quality, extremely expensive

as for parts... you can get 'em anywhere. Ever heard of something called Google or eBay?

do some searching on the forum, that's why the "Search" link is the biggest bolded word on the top menu.

I won't flame you, but there's tons of posts in this forum concerning this issue and we don't need (or want) to waste our time explaining it in depth (at least not me personally) look it up.

Short ram..sounds goood get injen this will be the cheapest route outher than a ebay intake..

cold air get the injen then order and cold air extension from rj....lok him up...

cpe intake will be the BEST gains hands down because of the tuning....if you want good gains/looks/performance/sound get this.....just start saving :) i just started and am going to get one in a couple weeks :)

other than getting tubes from a muffler shop/hardware store thats going to be pretty much it :)

if you need help on anything i just posted search for it its been discussed many many times

you're still fresh off the newbie shelf as far as i can see bub. take it easy.

to SolaraB, if you're not interested in gettin' the CP-E intake just go with an Injen Short Ram; they're on ebay for about $209.99 + shipping. i think there's an extension to convert it into a cold air, but most likely you'll have to fabricate that yourself. DON'T BUY the cheap no-name ones off ebay; that's all i can say.
