It's a special spray, actually.

I have no idea where to get it, nor can I verify that it works. Although I think someone on here did say they were going to try.

Yea its actually a spray that you spray onto the plate not the actual plate itself. I know this guy who is a driving instructor he used that spray and he said that it actually work. He got it from someone in another state i think.

lmao the site says:
500,000 CANS IN 23 COUNTRIES!
2 MILLION PLATES PROTECTED!
1.5 BILLION DOLLARS IN FINES AVOIDED!
REFLECTS traffic camera flash, helping to prevent a costly ticket!
FAST spray-on formula!
INVISIBLE to the naked eye!
EXCLUSIVE formula!
BEST alternative for when you can't use an anti-camera license plate cover!
ONE TIME application!
100% Legal!
Get a can before you get a ticket!

------------------------------------------

my question is.. if it says it's a one time application, why such a big can?..

I Do

Postby JMSinMaryland » Mon May 08, 2006 6:53 am

I have it on two of my cars. It's a small can that they say is good for up to 4 plates but I could have easily done 6-8. I figure 5-6 coats is recommended, 10-12 is better  . You can't see or feel the spray, it just looks like I have a brand new clean plate. They also sell covers but here in MD you're not allowed to have covers on your plates, I've seen a few cars with them on and it's very noticeable (i.e. the covers). I don't use this as an opportunity to run red lights, but in the offchance I do by accident this will hopefully save me some money. Jon. p.s. if you get it make sure to give it PLENTY of time to dry between coats, I think they said 10 minutes but I gave it 20-30 minutes.

No it wont work. The flash isn't bright enough. Think about a regular picture you would take 10 feet away vs. having to take that same picture from 50 feet away and the person is moving past you at 50 mph. The flash on a red light camera is BRIGHT vs. on a digital camera. Jon.

Anyone get it off of ebay?

http://search.ebay.com/photoblocker

At around $30+shipping, it's "well, what if it doesn't work"

At around $20 (shipping included) it's "well, there's not much to lose"...

what i dont understand is if the camera is high it shouold still take the picture......cause you should only get the flash if its straight on thats why it works for the ez tag causethe cameras are very low our red light cameras on the other hand are on top of the poles so i think they still might work

Usually the ads in the back or Road and Track have an advertisement for that.
