For the last year the finish had that "dirty" feeling. Paint was losing it's luster.

Took 8h yesterday and washed the car twice (Megauirs NXT soap, and then Dawn detergent - to remove all the wax).

Then used a zaino Z-18 clay bar to pull all the debris out of the paint.

Then used Megauirs NXT wax.

End result:

There was some good light this morning too. :drinking:

I've gotta say, I'm so pleased with the results, I think I'll be clay barring the car about once a year now.

(don't look at the rims/tires in the photos - I finsihed so late I haven't done them yet)

Wow looks good. Its nice to see a reflection off a silver car. I always skip out on the wheels too. haha. If you cleaned your wheels and tires it would make the car look 100 times better. Looks sweet though. 8)

I am a big fan of the clay bar. It makes your paint look wet and it feels like silk.

i tried claying my car a few weeks back.

i started with the hood. i had the clay bar and the liquid spray tht comes with it.

when i was claying it all the black/brown dirt was coming off and drying off and leavinf marks.

so i gess u have to wash thee car after claying it?

^^^black/brown dirt from the clay bar? If so, I think you need more lubrication.
