19's are as big as you can go on a gen1. you may be able to do some work on the fenders but it'll cost you some $$ im sure.
in my opinion 20's would look goofy on a gen1 anyway....... the gen2 is a different story.

you can go 20's on a gen 1 solara but the offset has to be right. you have to go like 20x7.5, you can get 20x8 on there as well w/o a drop..

if your dropped, 19's are cool, but 20's are the way to go if you are trying to floss..forget going fast...how often do you really get to push your car..and its a solara at that...

but this is just my opinion on this subject.. :wink:

do you have a specific set/color in mind? when i picture 20" wheels in my head theyre always chrome. depending on the color of your car black with polished lip might look good.

yea, black w/polished lip would look sick, cause my cars the toyota super white:) i think chrome would look ok too though.

dude dont do 20's..with body styling, shape and size of our car 20's would wayy to much especially chrome..go 18 or 19 at the most
