Rene has that set up. Shortened stick, short throw, with that same knob. I liked it. Looks and feels great when it's short.

mine is definately short...i ran a die down the threads and added threads to the rod down about 2 and a half inches further down than stock...then i cut, and ended up with about 60% of the amount of threads had stock(making it even shorter)

Just saw the video. That was real cool.

Comparing both TRD shift knobs. Does the long one make the stick longer or does it screw down pretty good?

I ordered a low temp thermostat and some stickers from TRDsales.com, the day before you posted this thread.

I just got an email today saying that the stickers need to be ordered from Japan. Then sent to New Zealand (thats where trdsales.com is located). Then, sent here to Dallas. I might see these stickers in about a month.
Where I work, everyone has a toolbox with stickers all over it. I had to order some TRD stickers to show off my personality.
As for your short throw shifter, just thought I'd make a suggestion. Not only do these guys make shifters, they also have knobs. They even have a gold plated one which I'm seriously considering:

Ok, almost a full month from my previous post.
I still have not received the pieces I have ordered.
I sent them an email asking for an update on delivery. They replied that the items are caught in customs and I should receive them by next week.

Has anybody had good luck with TRDSALES.COM?
