Steel Braided brake lines potentially very dangerous?

Was thinking of buying the Steel braided brake lines but after reading this I am wondering if I should stay away. Could be very dangerous. Any thoughts?

I think the key here is quality.

Buy crap and it may fail on you. Buy a known-brand name that's quality tested and you should be fine for the years you own/drive your car.

Yes... But even the good stuff can fail on you... I ordered a set of Goodridge SS brake lines and after a couple of months my front passenger side one failed. And I had mine professionally installed at a very reputable shop...

Good thing I found out mine went completely bad before I took my car on the street. I just saw a puddle of brake fuild on the ground.

Others members have also had the same problem with the same lines.
I'm sure other members can chime in on this that has experienced it.. Others have had no problems... but they are the luck ones...
