clank clank noise in rear suspension

Postby Nyyankees3511 » Thu May 25, 2006 5:49 pm

My sway bar was tight as can be and i coudlnt find the problem but the new rsb with new bushings fixed it. The bushings hole becomes bigger over time and then the sway bar plays around and makes noise.

Its the bar that connects to the struts, thats shaped like 7 , its around maybe 7-8" in length, and it has almost a gold colour to it.

Hmm.. is it? All I remember is that the bolt was loose that was connected to the strut..I forgot what the other end was attached to.

no the endlinks are ok, the noise seems to be coming from the upper posrtion of the suspension/strut. but the strut mount is ok.
