I actually just did something similar this past week... I used engine enamel... no idea how it will hold up... only time will tell...

(I used it because it was laying around from when I painted my calipers).

use krylon fusion..i just did about a month ago and its still perfect like the day i did it..just take off the grille, give it about 3-4 light coats and ur ready to go..no need for primer or clearcoat (unless u really want too but mine came out with a lil gloss) plus it dries super quick..it works wonders i promise u wont be disappointed

haha i did it already but if for some reason this crap dont owrk i'll give it a shot. I cant WAIT to get my cf hood on my ride. Its gonna look sooo sick with the grille and hopefully headlights soon. I'll take some pics when I get the hood back ( was supposed to be today =( ) Anyways, I pretty much stole someone's idea on here and painted the sides. Looks clean tho

Depends on what look you want. If you leave the emblem unpainted, it will stand out quite a bit. If that's the look you want, then go for it.

It looks stupid since it just looks like primer (but then again this was a last-minute project that I never bothered to follow through with; can't cruise around LA grille-less for 2 weeks, you know?)

However, this was supposed to be chrome. Pic on my signature.
