When I press the lock or unlock button, there's no "buzz!!" sound coming out from my Solara. How can I make that sound on or off?? :D Thanks for helping!!

The sound is only w/ the alarm. It's the horn honk sound. Otherwise, you can't get the sound on your 99

Can you describe what your remote looks like and the numbers on the back?? I'm trying to get a fob for my Solara. I don't think factory systems ever chirp; they just use the horn as the siren...

My factory keyless entry (ie. not factory alarm, just keyless entry) comes with chirping sound. Are you sure about that jeff? (cus' i've tried this myself...by locking and waiting 30 seconds and then unlocking the door from inside..no alarm!).

Mine chirps and the alarm goes off when you unlock it from inside.

Well, my 99's alarm goes off, doesn't chirp. Although it's as frustrating as bitter fxck sometimes when you're locking the car as you're walking away with noises around you (if it's quiet I could usually hear the lock click). So, if you STILL want to stock alarm to chirp, how would one go about doing so? I'm too broke to even get a DIY AutoZone alarm; even my wisdom teeth know this... they've been impacted on and off since December and recently started after laying dormant for 3 months. Wish I wasn't so broke all the time.
