You'll have to take off the wing and do some crazy trick because I can't figure out how else. That's funny you ask because I just did my trunk lid last night. When I tested it out the spoiler still rattled a little but when I pinched it it went away, so it shouldn't take too much to make it stop. I can't figure out how though. If you do let me know.

Here's a pic from last night. There's definitely a difference in sound, also it's nice and pretty much effortless to close the trunk with that much weight on it.

Great clean crisp full sound now, I couldn't stand that stock jbl setup. It lasted a week. So I'm happy with this and any louder and I'll go deaf. My ears are already ringin!!! LoL

Sp33d - There's no real special spots, pretty much as much space as you can cover do it. I of course can easily remove my trunk lid with the flip flop feature. I can't remember how easy it is the stock way. But you definitely want to do it when everything is cold. You need heat to make it adhere but it's not as forgiving when you're trying to place it in the right spots and mold it. As soon as you throw it outside in the hot sun you're all set.

I wanted to keep mine hidden behind the carpet so I just traced the area with some painters tape and went to town. Make sure you punch the holes so you can put the pins back in and assemble the emergency escape handle.

Hey AznDragonV, I bought it off eBay, I found that it was the cheapest on there. I've been to local stores and my favorite online place woofersetc.com and I still found it to be cheaper on the Bay.

i used Raammat on my whole car...2 layers. whole trunk, doors, fenders, rear deck, back seat...everything interior metal. Took about 30 hours total to get it all right, with all the trimming around fixtures and etc. and removal of the whole interior. dont rush it cause you dont want to redo all that work, of course I went a bit overboard cause I didnt want to take any chances.

I didnt use a heat gun, didnt use a roller, just left it outside while I did the install and pressed like crazy with my fingers. (the hands took a beating!) Raammat is thicker than dynamat and cheaper, and my car is tightly sound proofed.

I used 2.5 rolls of Raammat and could have used more. I highly recommend this product as it has eliminated all vibrations in my solara.

I have pics of all my work, but they arent up yet. I will post them soon.

I purchased all my Raammat on ebay as well. When you are installing the main thing to remember is where the original components were placed, holes, wiring, hinges, joints, etc. so you dont have to adjust all the deadener when you put your panels, interior back on. I also went through about 10 blades on my carpenters knife cutting that stuff up. Stock up on the razor blades!

I bought the Xtreme Bulk Pack, 36 square feet. Like both of us say thought, eBay. It really depends on what you want to spend and how much you need. I used 2 1/2 of the 9 sheets that come in the pack for my trunk lid. They're pretty big.
