Which place to get rotors....

Also, taken directly from Tire Rack link posted above commenting on drilled rotors:

"Not recommended for track use. Do not use with race compound brake pads. Drilled rotors are not warranted against warping or cracking."

yeah, i know all the arguments...do a search and you can read up til your heart's content on all the benefits and drawbacks of every type of rotor. if i had to do it again, i would probably just get brembo blanks with oem pads.

until my drilled brembos and axxis ceramics wear out, i will remain content with THEIR stopping power.

it sounded like you were calling me out for false information...that wasnt my intent at all. What I meant to proclaim is that I am pleased with my drilled brembos.

we don't need to re-initiate the whole rotor debate...it is a bit overdone.

spend the money to get some oem pads at least...they're only about $45 at any dealership.

Cuz they look pretty and people see them on race cars and think they need them too. The only real race cars that might NEED cross-drilled rotors are like Le Mans cars, or race types that run in excess of 100mph for extended periods of time. If your rotors don't glow, you probably don't need cross-drills. And if you did NEED cross-drilled rotors, you probably need pads that wouldn't work for street driving, ie pads that need to be warmed up 500F or higher before they even start to work.

Like I said, my recommendation for you is get Brembo rotors from Tire Rack. Either blank or slotted. As far as pads go, I've used Project MU and Endless in the past with great results. I dunno if they have any applications for your car though. Tire Rack I see sells Hawks for your car, a lot of the G35/Brembo guys use Hawk HPS pads and they all love them.

Well just ordered on Saturday.
And see how they work out for me.
There were 2 reviews on Tire Rack that were from a 2000 Toyota Camry and a 2002 Toyota Solara and they said they like the cross-drilled.

~500 miles sounds about right. I don't know exactly. But yes, they usually come with it written on the box, or on a sheet of paper inside the box.
