yes there is astro.. he picked it up on saturday.. we discussed one of the major problems.. the mounting tabs on the top.. toyota did a good job of keeping us from removing anything from that grill ( or emblems for that matter) the mounting tabs are on the second slat from the top.. not on the top one like on the gen1.. he is going to see if he can mod it somehow to remove the tabs and add plastic to make them mount to the top while maintaing stock mounting location..

its gon take time.. first grill took him nearly 12 hours to get done.

Hey david, is there anyway to replace or beef up that top slat. I was looking at the grille and i dont see why that piece cant be worked around. The other thing i was thinking was to just cut that POS off and then place like a small piece of metal on top. maybe maybe?
