im looking into maybe getting those Megan springs from pervo that he was sellin awhile back..i was wondering tho if that 2" drop will make the tires rub?? im on the stock alloys right now but should be gettin some 18's soon

just lower it and if you rub, rolling your fenders will solve the rubbing problem if one does occur..

It all depends on the offset of your wheels, and rolling the fenders may be needed. like stated above by both guys.

sry to change the direction of my thread but do any of you guys think that a 2" drop would be too much..im thinkin of gettin a trd or black wodow kit in the future and im not so sure that much drop would be the best idea..just havin some second thoughts and wanna get it straight before i make the purchase..lemme kno wat yall think

2 inch drop is not a lot, and yes a TRD kit makes a solara "oh so beautiful", and scratch that BW kit off your list, a FiberGlass kit is the last thing you want while lowered, you will crack it.

Yeah, don't even think of the BW kit if you wanna be lowered. I cracked mine up, that's why I did the gen1.5 conversion. Even with the TRD kit, I scrape...

yea its a daily driver so alot of crackin is def not what i wanna get into..then u got the down time of repairs or just drivin a car lookin like sh*t if u dont fix it..if i dont go TRD i might even just do a BW rear bumber or the TRD rear?? that shouldnt have any problems with scraping
