Here's the start of my new project, which is being done at Custom Lightz. I've got TSX H.I.D. low beams (with a color mod - check website for details) and some H1 high beams. The high beam halogen projectors are turned upside down so it's actually functional (check my video below). I was actually able to find H1 projectors that were the exact same size as the TSX. I'm also getting a custom plug-n-play wire harness, with multiple fuses. They are still working on the shrouds, which is a 3 piece with chrome trim ring (pic below) for all 4 lights. These are brand new OEM headlights with the housing painted a high gloss black. The lights should be finished later today, I'll post more pics when I get them...man, I can't wait...enjoy... :D

3 piece bezel with chrome trim (inner chrome will be painted black, due to others getting some glare from it).

Here's a video of my low's and high's (requires DivX encoding)

Haha...I beat you to it...LOL!!!

The TSX has the best color, period. When the do the color/washer mod, it enhances the color drastically. Without this mod, it looks normal. It puts out more color than the S2000 and the E46. The S2000 is supposedly a little brighter than the TSX, but both are better than the E46. These guys have been doing retrofits for years and prefer to use those projectors. They'll retrofit any projector you like, but that's what they recommend.

Just take note - more expensive cars don't automatically have better projectors. This seems funny to me, but that's the way it is. From what I hear, the E46 (or M3) projectors run about $100+, while the TSX run about $200+.

This shop is located in Midlothian, VA. The retrofit is gonna run me about $1250! :o But, I think it's totally worth it. :P

Thanks everyone!!! I hope they finish up and send me more pics.....

Yeah was goin' to retro for Gen 1.
I know a guy who is goin' to do it for me for $400 and 1 year warranty, tech support, and somethin' else, that i can't remember.
I've seen his work and it's real good.
Can't wait to see final pictures man.
I think E46 Bi-Xenon is good, plannin' on the retro myself????
Thinkin' about makin' H4 custom harness for D2S.
