Bumper install issues

Postby solaraluv » Thu Jun 22, 2006 9:09 pm

Just installed new bumper today but had a slight issue with the driver side. There is a bolt that I cannot get to unless the tube that connects to the air box is taken out but i cant get the screw for that either and I know I have read people here have taken them out before. I need help. :(

Are you installing a stock bumper?

If so, you don't need to take out that tube. You just need to take off the plastic lining in the fender and the stud is tucked in there somewhere.

Note: This was on my Gen 1.5

If I recall correctly, you have just enough room to maneuver an open/closed end wrench in there.
