License Plate Frame?

hey there! my solara doesn't have a front license plate frame/holder, can you get these for the solara or do you have to get a generic one? my state requires front license plates and they are starting to crack down on it around here! if so, i need a dwp one to match the body color.

they have license plate brakets so that ur license plate doesnt just sit on the front bumper itself. you can find them at your local toyota dealer i think... one of the other members said its like $11.

I went to the dealership and they told me the solara never came with a bracket. You just drill into your front bumper :cry:

Yeah all you have to do is use screws to hold the front plate one.

rgztoy.....yeah i know that i can get those, but i was seeing if they made actual frames that are body colored and contour to our bumpers, but i don't think that they do! my cousin has an avalon and he has been looking for a while and i am now trying to decide what to put on my lara!

I have a TRD license plate holder that i'm selling (current on the car...not fond of it anymore). I will be passing by Chicago (I-90/94) on the 2-3rd July. Let me know if your intrested.

Ohio makes us have license plates on the front. I consider it one of those dumb laws that doesnt matter. So I have yet to put one on. The wierd thing is that only my solara ever gets me pulled over for it. The Camaro never did.

yeah it's a dumb law i think, but nevertheless it is the law! see, i have tinted windows and whenever i pass a cop i get alittle nervous, because i have been pulled over before and warned, but i love the tint and can't part with it! so i figure that i should abide by the license plate law and not give them any other reason to get out their book!
