Hi my name is Ryan. I just purchased a 1999 Toyota Solara SLE v6 and Im stoked on keeping it nice. I registered with this sight mainly to keep informed and to aquire new info about things before walking blindly into the dealer. Any info you can provide me with is greatly appreciated, thank you and have a nice day.

Hi , thank you for welcoming me. Mine is opalesent white, and it is very clean. It has 68000 miles on it, and it came without an owners manual. I am trying to track one down, and in the meantime Im trying to figure out what services I should begin getting done. The oil change and radiator flush are obvious, however I always like to tune up vehicles when I first get them. I normally do the work myself but in this case I might have to take it in to the dealer. I cant even see the rear 3 spark plugs on it, and that in itself leaves me feeling at the dealers mercy. It is unfortunate because with my Civic they wanted $80 to change the spark plugs and I did it myself for $12, so there is no telling how much I will be paying with this new vehicle.

Welcome :D

The easiest way to shrink it to me, is to use MS paint. Hit image, then stretch/skew. Then in the stretch window, scale it down, like 50% horizontal and 50% vertical. Try different %'s, you should be able to figure it out.

Welcome to SolaraGuy.

Very nice looking ride you have.

No problem on the avatar. It happens to everyone. You are hosting through PhotoBucket. If you hit the EDIT button, you can reduce the image size. Of course this is permenant. So I hope you have another copy of the image. Start with 50% and see how it looks. Then you can do it again if it's still too big. Try 75% the second round and so on.

You do not have to re-establish links coming back here. Updating the original pic file on PhotoBucket will update the pics here. (You may have to hit F5 a few times or surf a few pages to see results on SolaraGuy)
