be more careful next time?
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

I just did my brakes on saturday. I put new brembo rotors -$210 (rears off ebay, front off some website) and OEM pads -$110. Great combination, best quality and value. Brakes are too important to go cheap and screw around with.

I purchased from these links:

Rear Rotors:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 7956212455
Front Rotors:
http://replacement.autopartswarehouse.c ... sc&dp=true

Pads:
Local Toyota Dealership, I had a friend from another dealership order them so they were $87 instead of $108 plus tax.

This was all for a 1999 solara sle, it should be the same for you too.

That cop must have been a real a$$ to give a marine a ticket. I always though that the men and women of the armed services were given a break.

If you want stock braking power just get oem rotors and pads.

For a little better braking with low dust/noise, go with brembo blanks and hawk hps pads. I have this setup on my camry and i've very satisfied.

You need to get this set from Ebay, great price for Brembo front and back cross drilled and slotted, and the best of all, zinc plated, no rust, I bought them and very happy with it:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-Camry ... 0009433471

I had a set from the group buy a long time ago, sucked and rusted so bad. This set from eBay kick ass, looks shiny too!

Postby LatinUSMC » Sat Oct 07, 2006 12:42 pm

   :-? :-? :-?
update im at 110k and im still to buy front rotors and pads but now i really need them. ...does any body in the 818 SFV area(so cal area) know some where i can go.... in person and buy them, looking for brembo rotors and oem pads...ive been online but i think id rather go and pick up personally (id like to find rotors under$100 and pads under %0) ..anybody know a brake sales speciallist... :o im gonna install em ..myself.

i thought about just resurfacing, but i cant buy cesars trd evos w stock rotors (im on the stock 15's) , they wont fit..also i looking to buy new rims 17's soon... :drinking:
