hey guys hows it going. my name is ray aka blast. i own a '06 toyotoa camry solora sle. my first experience with a solara was last summer when i rented an sle on vacation and fell in love. i love my car. it may not be the beastiest looking car because of its tan top and its pearl paint with leather interior, but i like it cause its a classy toyota, and a classy car at that. i would love to hear what you all would add and give me tips on what to add. i use to have mazda miata but i traded it in, i know probably should've stuck to the miata. so far i like my solara, but i wish it was more sporty... and im willing to save to work a lil with it. perhaps first off making it less girly perhaps, and more sporty. but nice to meet you all fellow solara lovers. Hey, welcome to the site! Sounds like a nice ride, make sure to post some pics!

In order to make your ride more sporty, the top three things to do are:

TRD Rear Sway Bar - Can be had for around $150, cinch to install yourself, and DRASTICALLY improves your cornering ability!

TRD or Eibach Lowering Springs - Can be had for much less than coil-overs, yet effectively get rid of the nasty factory wheel well gap and greatly improve upon the stance of the vehicle

Injen or CP-e (if your car's a V6), or the Injen Short Ram Intake (if your car's an I4) - Makes the car sound a WHOLE LOT MORE agressive!! The CP-e kit for the V6 actually improves performance as well (and is currently the only proven performance enhancement for the Gen 2 thus far). I believe they are still testing the CP-e on the '06, but I may be mistaken (check out the Gen 2 aftermarket thread). Combine this with a TRD Sport Muffler and you have a BEASTLY sounding ride!!

Those would be the best things to start with... but there are several other things you can do... As stated earlier, check out the Gen 2 Aftermarket section and look at the sticky for Aftermarket Parts.

thats great... so i have the sle... im not too familiar with solara like i said, but sle is sport version as well as luxury?? sorry for sounding like such a noob

SLE = Sport Luxury Edition.....
SE = Sport Edition......

sweet... so i have a nice sports car haha... alright so picture this since i dont have pics wid me right now cause im at work. pearl with tan convertible top. im thinkin 15% tint on top of the 15 already on there. perhaps 1 to 2 10" subs. what other things exterior you think i should add tahts not engine wise first? i wanna make it look decent first so by the time i have real money ill add to the engine. so wat you think

Drop it. Get some nice aftermarket wheels. First check out other members rides so you can get an idea of what look you like.
