answer in long: the fenders have 0 to do with ride quality unless its rubbing.. and that only results in you eating away the tread and wall of the tire which can cause tire failure.. however if it does not rub... then no how the hell can it even be a part of the suspension IE: if you have a drivers fender does it affect the hp rating of the motor???

short answer: NO it wont but it can in some ways..

but with a 18x7.5 with a 45 mm offset riding on 225/40 18's setup i wont have rubbing even without rolling fenders on a 1.75" drop. I decided 1.75 all the way around haha
