I was debating on that too... I thought there's no possible way they'd make a connector that wouldn't fit, so it must be larger to surround everything...

It's a moot point anyway (at least for me)... since Amazon was out of stock of the connector, I went to the local Kragen's and picked up the connector with the pins exposed...

part number is 48205, which at Amazon, looks like:

Which is a bit different from the item I got... you only need the thing on the right and the one I got does have the pins exposed...

Not yet, waiting on the dealership...

Still need to wait for the flasher from superbrightleds...

And the actual converters from Amazon... (couldn't find the right ones at Kragen, and they're CHEAP!... they had five left, and I bought two...)

Okay so update......... Got a different 3rd brakelight done........ It is not above anymore but down where the stock one used to sit....... Pics suck, but you could tell on the reflection off the trunk, just finished it this evening...............

I love the way the lights look like a starburst in some of the pics (cuz of the camera). I wish there was a way to make them look like that in person. That would be so cool looking.
