At first i ordered a blue 07 camry SE V6, i gave the dealers a deadline to find it within two weeks cause i needed it by then but they couldn't. so i ended up getting the 06 solara 3.3L V6 with a 270 watt JBL 6 disk cd changer, tinted 20% back three windows free........but all in all i got it for 25K even out the door. msrp sticker on the window was for 25,690

Welcome!!!

Sorry about the Matrix, it looked clean before the accident.

Anyways your better off with the Solara. Though I dont know why you couldn't have waited for a Camry SE V6. But either way you have a phat ride.

well i liked the matrix for its ability to haul crap loads of stuff but i also hated it because of it crappy plastic interiorwhich nomatter what u do it constant rattles rattles rattles also the lack of power (i had the XR) so if you ask i like a little of both but the solara a tad bit more

yea i told my self if i was going get a solara the ground effects is a must due to the fact that the solara's big @ss, actually thats what drew me away from the solara to the matrix back in 03 when i was looking around for a car.
as for modding i might do some ground wired just for the hell of it and reused my hella horns and check to see if my rims would fit, and maybe do a projector retro or go for suspension first.

Welcome to Solaraguy... Hope whoever toasted the Matrix burns in hell, because when I was first learning to drive I wanted one simply because of the household plug socket, amongst other features and thought it looked cool, but I still kinda have a soft spot for them (but then again now I am more into coupes).

Enjoy your new 'Lara!
