IMO: the blue just doesn't look right. There needs to be some relationship between the rest of the car and the color of the wheels.
Example: My red Solara has all black trim. Grille, smoked windows, etc. The black (anthrocite) wheels have a relationship with the rest of the car.
The G35 pictured above is very nice. The wheels are hot, but they look out of place. (Again, my opinion.) If the car had custom paint where part of the car had some blue in it, then the blue in the wheels is trying to pull this color out. As it is now, blue or any other arbitrary color could have been used. It reminds me too much of the kids who buy Honda Civics and start painting interior trim pieces bright blue even though it doesn't go with the interior.
First: figure out what color scheme you are trying to achieve. Then get the wheels that properly accent it. Don't worry about the latest fad colors. Because fads will come and go ... proper color matching stays much longer.
You have a white grille. Personally, I'd look at white wheels with a polished lip. (I could care less if it's been played out. It's only about what you like)
