High Performance Radiator Hoses

High Performance Radiator Hoses

Postby bighoe » Wed Mar 26, 2003 8:43 pm

Hey,

Ive posted this once on the TeamSC3 forums. I'm a sales rep for Thermal Flex Inc, a silicone hose company. We are in the process of buying several OEM radiator hoses for different types of cars. Being a camry owner, I've noticed that many people are buying and modifying V6 solaras. We are willing to buy the tooling for creating high performance silicone radiator hoses for that car, as a replacement. I just need basically a head count of everyone that is interested. I will not have a price untill we buy the OEM hoses, but you guys will get a group-buy price, which is around 10% off. This hose comes in a variety of colors, and I know some of you only have colored vacuum hoses, or couplers to dress up your engine, so the radiator hoses would add a nice touch under the hood.

Thanks,
Joe Daoud

What do you guys think? Didn't flip say something like aluminum is bad for a radiator hose? What about silicon?

Thermal flex is actually a great brand because the silicone hose design allows flex for expansion and contraction. This is unlike the other product that was posted previously...which was merely a bent aluminum tube. Joe is legit and I do know him personally.

I'd buy it. Depending on the price. Blue, if possible.

The product sounds great for show but does it have any practical advantages. Needless to say if the price is right im still going to buy one

The main advantage of silicone is the strength. This will last longer than the life of the car!

We manufacture all of injen's hoses, so it will be the same color. :)

I would go with either red or a greyish silver if possible.
