But the RSB really beats the FSTB, that bar alone can reduce most of the body roll in our cars.
FSB = Front Sway bar.
FSTB = Front Strut Tower bar.
Dont get these confused, these are different things. FSB goes under the car, FSTB goes on top of the struts. TRD FSTB offers no change in handling characteristics from stock, only clearance for the supercharger. FSB (most popular one by Whiteline) will change handling characteristics only when the left front and right front springs are at different compressions, usually when cornering.
A stiff sway bar will also cause additional jarring when going over uneven pavement - Any bumps that applied only to one side of the car will be partially transmitted through to the other side as well.
RSB I recommend in just about all cases, moreso than any other upgrade for the Solara, unless you live in an area where the roads are very uneven between in the inside and outside of the road.
I dont recommend the FSB if not lowered, as it promotes understeer. If lowered, I would only recommend it if a RSB is installed.
