Looks pretty sweet man. As far lower grille mods in general, I think it looks good as long as it matches the top (ie - mesh with mesh, clean top with clean bottom (like yours), etc)

Yea, Yanks, Stupid Auto Laws are the only bad thing bout Jersey...

I have a question. How was that done? Was it cut out? or blacked out?
So me placing 10 inch rims on my car will make it handle better? Cool.

all i did was photoshop it... i used sumthign to get the same shade black that it was in there and then blacked it out with that, then used a smudge feature to make a lil shadow and smooth the edges.. also THAT IS NOT MY CAR i had that pic saved on my computer for awhile and used it..

I don't have my front plates mounted and I've had my car for over 2 years without getting a ticket for it. I don't think the cops 'round here really care about that kinda stuff.

on the top grill I cut out the center grill part, sanded it smooth, insert the mesh. On the bottom, I cut the center bar out, at the ends of were I cut I curved out holes for the fog lights, then insert the mesh. I did need the body shop to do some smoothing and painting on the bumper area.

hey adam, the picture link thing isn't working for me. but from what i'm reading, i've already done that mod. my boy cut out the middle grill and front grill. he also removed the fog lights and meshed all the open areas. to me, it sort of resembles a bomex kit on an sc 400. it gives my car a very aggressive look, especially with the trd body kit. oh, and it is illegal if you don't have front license plates here in va. but i've been riding for a couple months now and i haven't run into any problems. and that's with cops passing by and so on. we md/va solara owners should meet sometime. i'll also try taking digital pics and loading them as soon as i can find the correct software. take it easy
