aftermarket tails...sealed or no?

quick question. i already tried a search, but with no direct answer. for those of you who bought aftermarket tail lights, did you seal them up to prevent condensation?

i took a look and i can kinda see some gray sealant inside the lenses, but is that enough?

i didnt seal mine and i get a bit of fog in their on humid rainy days but other than that the sealant in there is golden!

Theres no leakage problems out of the box, unlike the clear corners. Its double paned plastic, and sometimes some crap gets stuck between the two layers, but it never gets inside the second layer.

Irrelevant of what you believe aftermarket quality is usually lacking. What I do with ANY aftermarket lens is go to Home Depot and buy clear caulk. I go over it once and when it dries a second time. I haven't had 1 drop of condensation in any of my corners or taillights ever. Jon.

i been waiting awhile for the flat black alteezas, not the carbon fiber ones, so i finally snagged a pair.

i also haven't got any new pics up in a while either, but my car's not twilight blue anymore, it's two-tone.

twilight blue, and primer. :/ bleh.

haha naw, i got that one fixed. but i hit it again..! SAME panel (right rear quarter panel) a whiles back.

i recently put the front BW kit with s15's, and patched up some unsightly dents including that huge dent.

still primered cuz i'm waiting on some skirts and a rear.
