ok so first off my bad to WTF and all the others for posting in wrong forum, wasnt paying attention. but anyways
Just taking a lil poll here, What brand and style rim do you think is the best bang for your buck on a gen 1-1.5 Lara. reason I'm asking is I'm getting new rims, and I keep debating what kind, so I turn to you guys for your 0.02's. color/rim-size could be helpful too.

What

Postby JMSinMaryland » Thu Sep 14, 2006 1:22 pm

No offense but that's a stupid question. What do you mean by bang? Bang in regards to a supercharger is horsepower. What is "bang" in relation to a wheel?

^^^ I think you understood what he means...whaat would be the good words for that ??

I understand that in the wheel world it's just a question of taste and there is no measurement of a better taste or style...I agree ;)

I think 18" not too heavy would be perfect !

First... Best " Bang for the buck " and good wheels do not go together.

If you want better quality wheels you will pay the price. Trust me I know.. I've gone thru many many and many sets of wheels in the lifetime of my Solara.

Pretty much... "You get what your pay for"

IMO i would choose the style that "you" like not what others like. Give us a budget on what your willing to spend and we can help and point you in the right direction.

from one lara owner to another. Don't go cheap on wheels. In the long run you will become disatisfied with them and want to change to better wheels which will cost you most money in the end.

If you have any questions on wheels fitment feel free to PM me or you can go into the tuturial section and look for my post.

Well, being that you have no funds (all your "NO MONEY" rants) your best bet are the Gen2 wheels but don't let your friend pay for them.... It would suck to have his mom looking for you again.

I agree 100% - Its all about what style you like. Check out a site like superbuytires.com where you can scroll thru 100's of wheels and get an idea for whats available. :)
