Which Yokohama Avid Tire?

Which Yokohama Avid Tire?

Postby danh » Thu Sep 14, 2006 9:20 am

I have just purchased a 2000 SLE with 205 60 16 tires that need replacing. Many have suggested Yokohama Avids. Which Avids? There seems to be several to choose from. I am more interested in treadware and good ride characteristics. Consumer Reports highly rates the TRZ model. Should I go with te TRZ?

I had a set of Yoko-mama's on my stocks and some Parada's on a set of 18" wheels i used to have. I'll never buy another Yoko just because they both wore out *extremely* fast. In their defense, they had great dry traction, but the Goodyear Assurance's that i have on the stocks now are just as good and way better in rain & snow.
