Especially kenny and mark

The rims i want come in

18x7.5 in either 114.3x4 or 115x5 pattern, so i was told the 7.5 width is ruled out
the rims for 114.3x5 are either 17x7.5 or 18x8.5
so what are my best options
i was told 115x5 would still fit but with a little bit of modification. What would this process involve?
Also, would i even need to roll my fenders to fir 8.5 width? Im gonna ride 1" lower daily and 2" lowered @ shows and meets and stuff. ( whoops gave out part of my secret )

im so frustrated =[
im almost thinking about giving up my choice but my buddy told me not to just give up kuz everytime i look at my car after this ill just keep thinkin bout the rims i gave up.

Why dont you roll your rear fenders and get the 18x8.5. That should do it.

Funny thing is that Mark doesn't know about offsets.... 18x8.5 should be fine and rolling fenders is not expensive, 40 bucks for the both sides on the rear and Mark has a spot for FREE. Also, know what offset you are getting that will determine a LOT.

If you are going to have the adjustability to lower or raise, I take it via COs, you also have the capability to add some negative camber on it and this will also help with the rubbing issue.

My camry, which has the same specs as far as offsets, measurements, etc., as your solara is sitting on 19x8.5s and is close to tucking, no rubbing issues either. It is also about 3 inches low and it was my daily driver until now (since the swap)...

As far as Lug patterns, if you can get a set in 114.3x5 in the size you need, do it, just to avoid the drilling process on the 115x5 pattern.

Tires are a big contributing factor when it comes to rubbing wheels... take that into consideration also.

But dont ask Mark..... He doesn't know.. lol

BTW, Thanks for sending the memory card my girl just bought from you.

Wow
i need to read that several times over.
I guess these wheels with 18x8.5 come with a 42mm offset ( or 35mm ) but that i wasnt sure if it would work either since someone told me id need 45mm offset. Im definately gonna roll the fenders but if you guys know someone that does good cheap work please refer ( 40 for both rears sounds awesome to me. )
As far as 18x8.5, i think it would look absolutely sick. Im only gonna lower it maximum 2inch and thats only when im rollin slow and on smooth pavement. Im PARANOID about damaging my car.

Ill let the secret out now i guess. Im getting ground controls done when i come back from vacation. Im not sure if theyll allow for camber adjust. But doesnt adjust camber contribute to uneven tire wear and will really f*ck up the avid tires?

So many questions that i dont know =[

BTW, Thanks for sending the memory card my girl just bought from you.
Youre Very welcome
i hope shes happy with the purchase :D
