70? more like 160 around here!

I dont think its exhaust that lowers MPG that much, but probably the piping.

I wonder if the TRD muffler/stock piping guys are seeing the same kind of drop.

Exactly what I was trying to point out. The design of the Piping is what can change the effciency of the flow.

Which is why I asked if he got Mandrel bend or Pressure bend piping. The 2 can make a hugh diff.

But either way I don't think it should effect it that much. Maybe 2 or 3 MPG. So say 14 gal. you will lose about 28 to 42 miles to the tank..

What kind of piping did you get installed??? Pressure bend or mandrel bend..??

Resonators???

Skunk??? isn't this muffler made mostly for Honda;s?? I heard that brand onthe honda forums allot.. but rarely on a toyota...

I changed the exhaust back to 3Aracing for now. THe Skunk2 was giving me some rattling problems (dont know why). the piping is just stock piping, 2.5 inches I think. and I think it was pressure bend.

Aftermarket like Greddy Evo is 2.5"
2000 Solara SE auto V6. Diamond White Pearl.
Top Speed Run finished at 130 mph. :o

The Stock Solara piping for:
i-4 is 2.125"
V6 is 2.25"

Greddy is 60mm = 2.3622
Apexi is 60mm = 2.3622

JIC is 65mm (If i remember correct from JIC's site) =2.5591

The reason I know this is because when I had my piping done on my Solara i had them measure the INSIDE of the piping. Not outside piping diameter. All measurements above are for INSIDE piping diameter.

Allot of ppl think that the solara v6 and i-4 have the same size piping but in reality it really isn't.

Jeff, I thought you said you had custom piping done?? Or did you mean from the axle back to muffler??
