I read you where going to use GC's for your solara, and Ill tell you one thing... TRD struts DO NOT work with them.... But call indiglo, he will tell you better since he knows more about suspensions.

GC's dont work with KYB either lol. GC's sucks balls, for our platform that is.

Ground control are nice for swapping spring rates and getting extra parts, but they are a hassle to instsall. Involves modification of strut housings and what not. Whenever I get my camry or solara I'll prob. go with JICs

Tokicos are certainly NOT as soft as stock. I had cushy sofa-shocks on mine when I got it. I wouldn;t call them punishing... but crappy pavement is a pain, literally.

If you get the worn strut hat chunk in th front: try to tighten the giant Nut in the middle of the tower. (from under the hood) this stopped mine from chunking for a few months, although I DID end up needing new ones.
