rsb getting loose?

rsb getting loose?

Postby calreef18 » Tue Sep 26, 2006 12:40 pm

Hi all, I installed my rsb a couple weeks ago and the difference was great, the car stayed really flat in turns. Two weeks later, the car seems sloppier again, with more body roll. What could be the problem? The sway bar link nuts are tight, and I can check the other mounting bolts but I'm pretty sure they're fine. Did I just get used to the car?

Maybe you already got used to the car. I forget sometimes that I have one too. If your mounts are loose....you'd hear a rattling sound of somesort.

You'd be hearing stuff it the RSB was loose enough to allow more roll. The brackets or the ball joints would have to be loose.

Ok so everything is tight, brackets, links, tried shaking the sway bar and nothing, maybe I just need to go with coilovers/stiffer struts/different car.

I probably don't need to ask this, but do you have your RSB at the inner-most setting? Do you have the FSTB as well? That made a HUGE difference for me in addition to the RSB.

I still have the stock SLE shocks and tires, but I still feel a nice tight control as is.

You might want to check all the bolts and make sure their on there tight.
If they all are, than i think you're gettin' used to the car....
