Well, just got it back from the paint shop today and slapped it on there. Doesn't look bad at all, but for some reason the grill looks brighter than the rest of the car. I had the guy match the paint scheme of the car with the paint code 1C4. Is that all there is to the paint code or should there be more to it? I'm hoping it's just because it just got painted and hasn't faded at all, but any ideas about the paint code?

1C4 is right... it may be brighter because its a fresh coat of paint and the clear coat is reflecting back light like a mofo... Over a few months itll slowly match up to the rest of your car... the crap that the front grille takes on while being one of the most exposed part while driving, the engine heat that comes out while parked, and just being in the sun will do your "wanting to match" justice.

How much did you pay for the paint job

Im afraid to ask, but show your pics!! maybe you can start the thread of Renova JLee Grilles and everyone add to it

thanks WTF, that's what i was hoping. I paid $80 bux for a local shop to do it and they did it in a day. Other shops wanted to charge about $100-150, so I thought 80 wasn't too bad. The guy even told me he hated charging me that much, but he had to charge me an hour.

I will post pics when I get back from work today...

I like your DIY grill with the newer mesh!

The renova grill does look nice, i'm afraid its missing something in the middle (like trd emblem, or something). I'm waiting for someone to post painted pics with the bar so that i can decide what i want to do...

Man that looks good man.
I think the black mesh looks better.
But the horn does stick out alittle even though it's black.
I've seen those red horns on the WRX..... the red ones look nice.
