i baught the 00 solara with 42k miles and now ive just gottn to 70K miles.

All i have been doing is regular oil changes as 3k miles.

what should i be doing now that i got to 70K?

big service interval isnt till 90k when you wanna do the timing belt, water pump, all main seals, and tune it up as well. Maybe for 60k a transmission service of some kind may be involved, like changing the fluid. Also, ever replaced your air filter? If you havent its defiently due.

air filter was changed at like 55K (k&N) havnt cleaned it yet...will do this weekend.

coolant change? omg those things cost a crap load....ok i will look into it tho.

No preventative maintenance bill will look too expensive once you see how much it costs NOT to do it.

My Haynes manual sez to check valve clearances at 60k, but I thought this was unneccesary with hydraulic lifters. Anyone have this service done?

i replaced the spark plugs at 60 k. toyota sayed thats what they are rated at. i noticed a big difference once they were replaced. make sure you replace them with the deno's
