ouch, I got hit in the same area on the other side, its a crappy feeling. Now that kid definitely deserves some type of punishment. maybe community service = detail your car.

That's a bummer, atleast there's no substantial damage. We all make mistakes, just sucks that you were the mistake. Give the kid a break, we were all n00bs at one point. As long as he's willing to take responsibility for what he did, and make restitution I gotta give the kid some respect. Coulda just hit and run. So go easy on the poor sap, you can still drive your baby, and it wont be hard to get looking good as new again. Good luck man.

edit: give him a good nut shot for not thinking with the learners permit thing. Let him know it's all in his best interest though. lol.

I say that you contact his parents and talk to them and let them know that you wont contact the police or anything (im guessing you havent or this wouldnt apply) and make them pay for fixing all the damages and just give you a lot of money or else you will contact the po pos...for me thats just worse than revoking someones license
